When I say fiber, do you think of cardboard or tree bark? I know when I have brought it up with clients I often get the stink-eye from them like I am going to ask them to eat saw dust! Some refer to it as their roughage, my grandma calls it getting her greens, but we all need it to get ourselves moving, stay at an optimal weight and feel our best. The big question is โAre you getting enough?โ.

If youโve been on social media or even watching the news there has been lots of talk recently about fermented foods. Is this a new trend in the dieting roller coaster? Will there be a new fad diet using fermented food? I doubt it but wouldnโt put it past the media! Fermented foods have been around for centuries and have been dietary staples in many cultures!
Resolution Check In
Just curious about who has made a resolution this year? Itโs the last week of January and Iโm wondering if you have stuck to it this far. Have you had support? Was it a BIG goal or a little change that you have made? I decided to make a list of goals for the year with one for each month. I have been able to keep my goals for the month but am struggling with patience and can see why people donโt typically make it to the end of the month for resolutions and give up before things get going.

Set Goals
Itโs that time of year. The time when we are evaluating what we accomplished this past year and what we are going to do differently next year. Most people start setting New Years resolutions. I donโt resolve (a firm decision to do or not to do something) to change I embrace (accept and support willingly and enthusiastically) it and I encourage you to do this too!
Day Twenty-Six - Holiday Health Challenge
Do Nothing
What is happening? Yesterday I recommended that we all indulge and now weโre not doing any activity today!?! Thatโs right, weโre going to take a day of rest. It is not traditionally what Boxing Day is about but itโs what I recommend we do. I always thought Boxing Day was named as the day we get rid of the boxes all the presents came in on Christmas Day. I never thought anything more nor did think to do any other research.

Okay, so we discussed scheduling the events that we are going to visit and we discussed how to navigate drinking at events but what about food? Hereโs the scenario; We arrive at a party and there is a MASSIVE buffet filled with the most delicious food! We tried to plan ahead and not arrive super hungry but we were tied up at the office and had to rush out the door. What do we do?...
